In a challenging situation, Gnat UK tackled a major obstacle head-on when tasked with finding a solution to remove a massive volume of solidified oil sludge from within an Oil Storage Holding Tank.

Recognising the inherent risks associated with the tank's volatile contents, we implemented our cutting-edge Abrasive Cold Cutting Manipulators. These state-of-the-art tools were employed to precisely cut through the tank sides, creating a secure access route.

Our advanced Brokk 800 Diesel Robot was then deployed remotely to safely enter the tank's interior.

Thanks to the exceptional capabilities of the Brokk 800 Diesel robot, we were able to extract over 2000 square meters of solidified oil from the tank, ensuring its complete removal. Furthermore, all contaminated waste materials were promptly and responsibly disposed of by licensed contractors.
