Twin Brokk 800s with Atlas Copco Peckers Tackle Reinforced Foundations

Pair of Brokk 800 demolition robots with Atlas Copco hydraulic peckers tackling reinforced concrete foundations

A pair of GnatUK's Brokk 800s with Atlas Copco hydraulic peckers, tackling heavily reinforced concrete foundations — like a knife through butter.

The Brokk 800 is the heaviest unit in the Brokk range — around 11 tonnes operating weight, with a 55 kW three-phase electric or diesel power pack and an arm reach close to 10 metres. Paired with Atlas Copco's heavy hydraulic breakers, it delivers more impact energy than any other remote-controlled demolition robot on the market.

Twin deployments of this class are uncommon and reserved for the heaviest reinforced foundations. Working two units in parallel halves the programme on bulk concrete removal where access allows side-by-side operation. As with all our heavy fleet work, the operators control the machines remotely from a safe distance — eliminating the hand-arm vibration and noise exposure associated with manual breakers.
